Mr. Ernest "Ernie" Clyde Stover, age 71 of Ellijay, passed away on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.

Mr. Stover was born on April 9th, 1952, in Blue Ridge, to the late William "Dorsey" Stover and Emma Lou Stover. He worked as a house painter and was a member of Oak Hill Independent Church.

Survivors include his mother, Emma Lou Stover; brothers, Wally Stover and Denny Stover; sister-in-law; Michelle Stover, several nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23rd at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Wendell Stover, Rev. Chris Henson, and Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Music will be performed by Diane DeHart. Interment will follow in the New Liberty Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Kem Fowler, Kenny Foster, Sonny Martinez, David Westmoreland, Donald DeHart, and Hunter Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 22nd from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Georgia Lions' Lighthouse Foundation in care of Ted Vickory at 5582 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30341. However, the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
