Mr. Fairest Weldon McArthur, age 78 of Talking Rock, passed away on Wednesday, January 4 ^th , 2023 at his residence.

Fairest was born on September 6 ^th , 1944 in Pickens County to the late David Decature McArthur and Liller Montree Coffey McArthur. Fairest was employed by Whitestone. He proudly served our nation in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy McArthur; son, Rodney McArthur; adopted son, Robert McArthur; one adopted daughter, Mae Long, and brother, Jack McArthur.

To honor Mr. McArthur's wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
