Mrs. Frances Stanley Hendrix, age 73 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

Mrs. Hendrix was born June 19, 1951, in Ellijay, GA, to the late Arvil Stanley and Martha Lucille Clayton Stanley. She was a member of the Pisgah Church of Christ. She loved to play and sing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Gilbert Hendrix, sister, Betty Marshall, brother, Doyle Stanley, and grandson, Noah Andrew Abernathy.

Survivors include: son, Jamie Lloyd, of Ellijay; daughter and son-in-law, Diana Abernathy (David), of Ellijay; brothers and sisters-in-law, David Stanley (Betty) and Jack Stanley (Marilynn), all of Ellijay; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon Louise Colburn, of Ellijay, Peggy Bendict (Larry), of Crossville, TN, Judy Stanley, of Argentina and Cindy Ringhoffer, of Chatsworth; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 4 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8th from 1 pm until the service hour at 4 pm.

Graveside Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday May 29th at 1:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with the final funeral expenses.
