Mrs. Frances Mae Shipman Stanley, age 74 of Talking Rock, passed away Monday, November 21st, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Stanley was born on April 4th, 1948 in Jasper to the late John Burton Shipman and Maebell Boling Shipman. She was a housekeeper and a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stanley is preceded in death by her brother, John Reed Shipman; and son, Joseph Burton Stanley.

Survivors include her husband, Dave Stanley; two daughters and sons-in-law, April and Jeff Welch and Faith and Zeb McAllister; five grandchildren, Adam (Haleigh) Strickler, Allison Strickler, Abigail Wright, Ava Wright, and Fiona McAllister.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23rd at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. William Fawcett and Rev. Rudy Tribble officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery in Bartow County. Pallbearers serving will be Zeb McAllister, Jeff Welch, Adam Strickler, Marvin Shipman, Cameron Holguin, and Arnold Shipman. Honorary Pallbearers are Allison Strickler, Abigail Wright, Ava Wright, and Fiona McAllister.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 22nd from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, November 23rd from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Flowers and food will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Frances Stanley.
