Frank Alexander Holden, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great‑grandfather, friend, and native Atlantan, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, 04/24/2026, at age 94. He is survived by his daughters, Gail Hilburn, Alexandra Givens, and Frances Tutt; his sister, Betty Ford; six grandchildren; and seven great‑grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his wife, Judith C. Hendrix.

A proud United States Navy veteran, Frank lived a life defined by service, generosity, and quiet strength. He earned an LLB (Law) degree from Woodrow Wilson College of Law and enjoyed a long and distinguished career in real estate—earning the Phoenix Award—and was a Million Dollar Club life member. He taught real estate at Georgia State University, mentored many new agents, and was widely respected for his knowledge and generosity. As one friend said, "I always thought the world of him. He was a wonderful law scholar and an amazing real estate professional."

Frank gave generously of his time to his community: volunteering many years with Meals on Wheels, donating blood regularly, and serving with Kiwanis International. He was a lifelong learner and storyteller with a great sense of humor who loved history, gadgets, cars, and sharing tales of his Southern heritage.

In his youth he was Golden Gloves Mid‑South Champion his senior year at Georgia Military Academy. He remained active throughout life—an avid tennis player who often partnered in doubles with his daughters—and enjoyed hiking, fishing, swimming, travel, and culinary adventures. He was an enthusiastic University of Georgia Bulldogs fan.

At home, Frank treasured family traditions—most especially cooking the holiday turkey on the Weber grill, a ritual now continued by his children and grandchildren. A man of deep faith, he cherished the song "Hallelujah" and said the Lord's Prayer nightly. Gentle, courteous, and calm, he was known for small acts of chivalry and enduring kindness.

Frank's legacy is one of love, mentorship, generosity, service, and steadfast character. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.
