Frankie Irene Evans Ingalsbe, age 83, of Powder Springs, GA, formerly of Ellijay, GA, passed away peacefully and entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, July 21, 2024 with her family by her side.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Ingalsbe of Marietta, GA; son, Thomas (Dana) Ingalsbe of Anniston, AL; two grandchildren, Kathryn and Hudson Ingalsbe; sisters, Jerline (Jerry) Farist of Ellijay, GA, Sue Reece of Ellijay, GA; brother, Ronnie (Mona) Evans of Ellijay, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Leola F. Evans, Frankie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas "Richard" Ingalsbe, Sr., and sisters Fairy Hyde of Jasper, GA and Shirley Crooke of Ellijay, GA.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Macland Chapel in Powder Springs, GA with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will follow at the Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers serving the family will be Frankie's grandson and great nephews: Hudson Ingalsbe, Jared Heaton, Cole Farist, Caden Farist, Carder Farist, Carson Farist, Evan Frady and Jesse Dotson.

Frankie was a graduate of the Gilmer High School Class of 1959 and a 2005 inductee into the Gilmer High School Sports Hall of Fame. She was a long-time member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA. She dedicated her life to caring for her family while helping her husband to build their family business. She had a generous heart and was always willing to help someone in need. She possessed a strong sense of country and thought it important to financially support disabled veterans.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and thanks to caregivers, Maria Walker and Berdie Rameriz, and Compassus Hospice for their wonderful care of Frankie and support of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in memory of Mrs. Frankie Evans Ingalsbe.

Bernhardt Funeral Home of Ellijay is in charge of the local arrangements while Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory - Macland Chapel is in charge of the final arrangements.
