HOLT

Mr. Franklin Robert Holt age 71 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024.

Mr. Holt was born May 17, 1953, in Gilmer County to the late Robert Holt and Effie Sanford Holt. He worked many years as a mechanic for Beaulieu of America and was a member of the River Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holt is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Stover Holt, son, Andy Holt, sister, Hazel Young, and three brothers, Charles Holt, Bobby Holt and Lewis Holt.

Survivors Include sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Kelly Holt, of Ellijay, GA, Adam and Kayla Holt, of Ellijay, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Ronald Jarrett, of Epworth, GA; brothers, James Holt and Doyle Holt, both of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Alice Hall and Gertha Mae Sigers, both of Ellijay, GA; 9 Grandchildren, Nolan Webster, Slade Holt, Khloe Holt, McKenly Holt, Sophie Holt, Katlin Jarrett, Lucas Jarrett, Christopher Holt, and Kylie Holt.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 28th at 3 pm from the River Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Smith and Rev. Russell Hood. Pallbearers will be Slade Holt, Nolan Webster, Lucas Jarrett, William Holt, Justin Callihan and Carl Holt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Holt, Michael Holt, Billy Holt, David Young, and Daniel Young. Interment will follow in the River Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Shane Duggan officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 27th from 5 pm until 9 pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted. The family respectfully asks no food be brought to the funeral home.
