Mr. Freddie Clarence Craig, age 62 of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.

Mr. Craig was born on August 14th, 1960 in Gilmer County to the late Lewis Craig and Grace Rice Craig. He worked for the city of Chatsworth and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Craig is preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Craig; sisters, Verdie Craig and Christine Worley; and brothers, Sammy Craig and Ruel Craig.

Survivors include his brother, Willie Craig of Ellijay; and six sisters, Katherine Sexton of Ellijay, Louise Young of Ellijay, Betty Collins of Chatsworth, Ruby Stover of Ellijay, Ruth Barrera of Ellijay, and Lillie Cantrell of Chatsworth.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. William Cruse officiating. Interment will follow in Jarrett Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Tommy Stover, Charlie Sexton, Jeremy Underwood, Jessie Dean, Willie Craig, and David Rogers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 5th at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour.
