Gary Clifton Burrell, age 66, of Cartersville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 5, 1959, in Talking Rock to the late Hollin Burrell and Betty Ann Morrison Burrell. In his fulfilling life, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife and family and worked for several years as an MRP planner for Lockheed. Gary and his wife attended Eagle Pointe Baptist Church in Acworth.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 38 years, Karen Lynn Cowart Burrell; daughter, Amanda (Darquell) Bullock; son, Gary Clifton (Megan) Burrell II; sister, Lisa (Dusty) Eaton; brothers, Larry (Renaye) Burrell, David (Jennifer) Burrell, and Steve Burrell; grandchildren, Andrew, Michelle, Anissa, Amari, Madison, Charlotte and Benjamin along with several other nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm for a memorial gathering on Wednesday, September 24, at the Bernhardt Funeral Home in Ellijay, followed by words of encouragement by Bro. Tom Lee.
