Mr. Gary Montgomery age 67 of Ellijay passed away on Feb 1st 2025 at his residence.

Gary was born September 2nd 1957 in Clinton TN to his parents Robert and Darlene Byrd Montgomery. He was a veteran and retired from the United States Army where he served honorably for his country. Gary was a long haul trucker, and during his years of truck driving he was able to be in 46 of the 50 states. He was also a member of the Independent Church of God (Atlanta).

Survivors include his wife Connie Lynn Langley Montgomery, mother; Darlene Johnson, Jasper, sons; Adam Montgomery (Megan) Jonesboro GA, Daniel Montgomery Dallas GA, Daughter; Shannon Grubbs (John), Dallas GA, brother; Glenn Montgomery (Sheila) Clinton TN, 12 Grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild also survive.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday Feb 8th 2025 at 3:30 pm from the Independent Church of God (Atlanta) with Rev. Jefferey Reed officiating.

Flowers will be accepted but the flowers will need to be delivered to the church at the Independent Church of God (Atlanta) @ 2371 Pleasantdale Rd Atlanta GA 30340.
