Mr. Gary Lynn Stanley, age 65 of Ellijay, Ga., passed away at his residence on Monday, February 5th, 2024.

Mr. Stanley was born in Gilmer County on December 15th, 1958 to the late Raymond Stanley and the late Mary Griggs Stanley. Mr. Stanley was retired from Swift Transportation.

Survivors include his two sisters, Charlotte Nicholson of Ellijay and Janice Bass of Dalton; two brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stanley of Ellijay and Glenn Stanley of Ellijay; several nieces; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 at 2 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 14th from 1 PM until 2 PM at the funeral home.
