Mrs. Gloria Jean Mata, age 79 of Ellijay, formally of San Diego, California, passed away on Wednesday, August 3 ^rd , 2022 at Parkside Rehab in Ellijay.

Mrs. Mata was born on May 15 ^th , 1943 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of the late John Rosales and Jessi Rosales. She was a housewife and a member of the Covenant Community Church of Ellijay.

Survivors include her husband, Tony C. Mata of Ellijay, GA; two sons, Jessy Mata of Ellijay, GA and Dan Mata of Florida; one daughter, Gloria Mata of San Diego, California; one brother, Buddy Rosales of Washington State; one sister, Patty Rosales of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10 ^th , 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Gloria Jean Mata.
