Mr. Harry Dean McClure, age 71 of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday January 11 ^th , 2022 at St. Thomas-Rutherford Hospital.

Mr. McClure was born in Woodstock on January 22 ^nd , 1950 to the late Paul McClure and Ruth Wright McClure. Mr. McClure loved his family, and was loved by all who met him. He worked for many years as a bus driver for famous entertainers including, The Oakridge Boys, Kenny Rogers, Shenandoah, and Randy Travis, just to name a few. He was known as "Mr. Smooth".

Survivors include his son, Casey McClure; one daughter, Julia McClure; four brothers, Randy, Jack, Rodney, and Danny McClure; five grandchildren, Jolee, Emrey, Deacon, Ellis, and Whitley McClure.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 14 ^th , 2022 at 2 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev(s). Russell Burt, Charles Ray, and Dennis Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Tony Pritchett, Keith Hamby, Ernie McArthur, Mike McClure, John McClure, David Jones and Honorary Pallbearers: BJ Reece and Ed Forrester.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 13 ^th from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to "Christmas for Kids" c/o P.O Box 2611 Hendersonville, TN 37077.
