Obituary

Jack Nunn, age 60, of Ellijay, GA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and children on February 28th.

Born on March 17th, 1965, Jack was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many. Jack and his family moved to Ellijay from Warm Springs, GA, when he was in 3rd grade. His younger years were full of sports, time with friends, time on the river, hunting, and camping. He graduated from Gilmer County High School in 1983. In his adulthood, he was an extremely skilled carpenter and cherished father of four.

He most enjoyed laughter, sharing stories and memories, music, the outdoors, thrifting and antiquing, sports, good food, and, more than anything, time with his kids. He found great joy and comfort in his unwavering faith in the Lord. He was a generous person and loved nothing more than to give to others. He possessed a brilliant mind, hilarious wit, an empathetic heart, and the biggest, most infectious smile and laugh ever. He was an amazing man.

Jack is survived by his father Henry Jackson Nunn II (Lou Anne Nunn), and mother Anna Nunn, the mother of his children, Susan Nunn, his children, Lauren Herren (Jesse Herren), Thomas Nunn (Joni Hensley), Chase Nunn (Kylie Nunn) and Taylor Nunn (Megan St. Germain), brother, Keith Nunn niece Alexis Nunn, Nephew Colton Nunn, grandchildren, Khiston Stanley, Zaida Stanley, Francis Nunn, Audrie Lathery, Hudson Lathery, August Nunn, Henry Hicks, Molly Hicks, and Levi Nunn.
