Mr. Herbert "Herb" J. Bennett, age 86 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Bennett was born on December 28th, 1938 in Gainesville, GA to the late Clay Bennett and the late Addie Reynolds Bennett. He was an engineer for Dutch Quality of Gainesville.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Joyce Ann Frady Bennett of the home; five sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff (Lisa) Bennett, Greg (Rhonda) Frady, Devell (Lisa) Frady, Max (Sandi) Frady, and Chet (Lizy) Frady; daughters and son-in-law, Becky Bennett and Joy Frady Martin (Charlie) Shore; nine grandchildren, Bailey Frady, Riley Frady, Bryce DeBoard, Amanda Jones, Cody Dubois Dustin Debois, Matthew Bennett-Rados, Jamie Frady, and Courtney Coleman; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Carver, Lukas Martin, Trevor Martin, Bryson Shore, Zakary Sammons, and Chase Frady, and a host of great-grandchildren also survive.

To honor Mr. Bennett's wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
