Mrs. Inez Davis Logan, age 89 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Friday, February 21st, 2025 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mrs. Logan was born on June 23rd, 1935 in Ellijay, GA to the late Arvil H. Davis and the late Annis Dotson Davis. She was a member of the Dovers Chapel in Ellijay and worked for Gold Kist as a house inspector for over 25 years. Mrs. Logan loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, Inez is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Thomas Logan; three brothers, Luther Davis, Cletis Davis, and Buford Davis, and sister, Winford Buckner.

Mrs. Logan is survived by her daughter, Johnnie Sue, and son-in-law who she loved like a son, Ronnie Garland of Ellijay, GA; sister, Josie Davis of Fairmount, GA; two grandchildren, Dennis (Michelle) Teems and Mike (Dana) Garland; great-grandchildren, Payton Teems (Jacob Matthews), Cole (Allie) Bennett, and Anna Lee Garland; one great-great-grandchild, Tucker Bennett, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mrs. Logan will be held on Monday, February 24th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Graveside Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as Pall Bearers: Dennis Teems, Curtis Davis, Willard Davis, Cole Bennett, Jacob Matthews, and Ronnie Garland.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gilmer County Animal Shelter or Homeward Bound Pet Rescue in memory of Mrs. Inez Logan.
