Miss Inez Lowman, age 82 of Ellijay, died Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Miss Lowman was born, February 24, 1944 in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Hazel Ellis and Wayne Lowman. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Pickens Technical School, Truett McConnell Junior College and North Georgia College.  She owned and operated Ellijay Bookkeeping and Tax Services since 1982 and was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. Her parents, Uncle J.D. (Lillie) Ellis, and Aunt Marjorie "Ninnie" preceded her in death.

Survivors include: Cousins James Ellis and Alice Ellis. Special Friends Scott and Tanya Chastain, Claude Chastain, Joe and Toni Hunter, David and Julie Stover, Donald and Kim Stover. And a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026, at 2:00 pm from the New Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. John Reece, Rev. Billy Dotson, Rev. Caleb Parks, and Rev. Jamie Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24th, from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday, April 25th, from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted; however, the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home in memory of Ms. Inez Lowman.
