Jack Thomas ''JT'' Withrow, age 93 of Ellijay, Ga, passed away Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at the Oaks Assisted Living in Ellijay.

J. T. was born on July 17th, 1931, in Gilmer County to the late Grady Withrow and Ruby Starks Withrow. He worked as a Type Reader employed by Brown Printing Company. He was also a bus driver for the Gilmer County School system and a farmer.  J.T. never met a stranger; he loved life and was a kind and giving soul. He was a wonderful father, Grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved the Lord, his family, and his church. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his wives, Eloise Park Withrow, Oletta Withrow, his stepson, Lowery Cantrell, and his brothers.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law,  Carol (Preston) Harbour; six grandchildren, Misti (Bobbie) Willingham, Casey (Christy) Hall, Keith (Jessica) Cantrell, Chancey Cantrell, Bobby Cantrell, and Brook Cantrell, Rhonda (John) Calhoun, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Davenport and Rev. Norman Carney officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Casey Hall, Chase Hall, Keith Cantrell, Lamar Walker, Bill Withrow, and Nate Withrow.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14th 2025, from 11:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted; however, the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can also be made to the New Hope Baptist Church or the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in c/o Mr. Edgar Land @ 77 Bob Pinson Street, Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of J.T. Withrow.
