Mr. Jackie Dwaine Abercrombie, age 70 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain.

Mr. Abercrombie was born on October 1st, 1953 in Pickens County to the late Hoyt Winslow Abercrombie and the late Sarah JoAnn Parks. Jackie was in the automobile business where he detailed cars for years. He loved old cars, especially driving his 1963 ½ red Ford Falcon. He was a wonderful daddy and brother. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and the Apple Country Classic Auto Club, Inc. of Ellijay.

Survivors include daughter, Ashley Nichole Abercrombie of Chattanooga, TN; three brothers, Johnny Abercrombie of Ellijay, GA, Bobby (Julie) Abercrombie of Ellijay, GA, and Ronnie (Sue) Abercrombie of Ellijay, GA; two sisters, Cathy (Ronnie) Wright of Ellijay, GA, and Lou Ann Wright of Jasper, GA, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 14th, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Johnny Abercrombie, Bobby Abercrombie, Ronnie Abercrombie, Byron Abercrombie, Brian Abercrombie, Josh Wright, and Kristopher Wright.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 14th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 3:00 p.m.

Flowers and memorial contributions will be accepted in memory of Mr. Jackie Abercrombie.
