James William Aaron

Mr. James William Aaron of Cherry Log, passed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee, Canton, GA.

James was born December 29, 1961, in Gilmer County to the late Charles and Lucille Beavers Aaron. He was a truck driver employed by Satterwhite Log Homes. He was also of the Baptist Faith. He was a lifelong resident of the Cherry Log Community, where anyone who knew him, loved him. He enjoyed life by simply being outdoors.

Survivors include Wife; Rhonda Aaron of the Home, Stepdaughter; Hope Dickey, Morganton, Brother; Mark Aaron, Ellijay, Sisters; Brenda Mullinax, and Linda Brewer both of Ellijay, Nieces and nephews; Jody Talley, Danny Mullinax, Sybil Rymer, Zach Gassett, Morgan Aaron, David Aaron, and Leah Aaron. 5 great nieces and nephews. 1 step granddaughter Allie Dickey.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24th, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Hagin, Rev. Junior Davenport, and Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will follow at the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Gassett, Gary Chadwick, Cody Lance, Mark Hice, Tim Underwood, Murray Long, and Danny Mullinax. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernest Watkins, Anthony Mullinax, Bobby Long, Bobby Brewer, Jerry Norton, Mark Aaron, Phillip Davenport Sr, Mitchell Reed, John McClure, William McClure and Sam Brooks.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Friday, January 24th from 9:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Food and flowers will both be accepted in memory of Mr. James Aaron.
