Mr. James Willie McDougal, age 92 of Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 at the Huntsville Hospital in Alabama.

Mr. McDougal was born on March 9th, 1931 in Woodstock, GA to the late Willie McDougal and the late Lucinda Popham McDougal. He proudly served our nation in the United States Army and retired after 22 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. McDougal is preceded in death by his loving wife, Zennia McClure McDougal.

Survivors include his two sons, Terry McDougal of Newbern, NC, and Mark McDougal of Lacey's Springs, AL; two grandchildren, Mark McDougal of Toney, AL, and Crystal Tyler of Mitchell, IN; eight great-grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Riverhill Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Gentlemen from the United States Army will be serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the procession departure time of 12:30 p.m.

The family will be accepting food and flowers in memory of Mr. McDougal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Veteran Organization of your choice.
