It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Bubbs (Jason Upchurch) on 6/23/26 at the age of 48 years old.

Jason was a loving and caring son, brother, father, and friend to everyone who ever met him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, the love he shared, his non-judgmental ways, and his passion for fishing, being known as a legend on any body of water.

He is survived by his son, Grady Upchurch, father, Michael Upchurch and stepfather, Gary Swinson, two sisters, Amanda and Ashley Upchurch, two brothers, Brian and Cory Upchurch, and one sister-in-law, Toria Upchurch. Several Nieces and Nephews and 2 Great Nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard "Pepper" and Lillian Marie Winters of Panama City Beach, FL, Mother Donna Gale Swinson of Ellijay, GA, two uncles, Patrick Upchurch and Steven Andrew Winters of Panama City Beach.

Our family finds comfort in knowing that his pain and suffering have ended and that he is finally free and with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed every day but never forgotten.

A Celebration of life will be set at a later date.
