Ms. Jeanette Workman, age 65 of Trion, GA, formerly of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.

Ms. Workman was born on January 25th, 1958 in Cumming, GA to the late Ray Gayton and the late Lenora (Chumley) Gayton. She was a District Manager for Burger King and a member of the River Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Nathan Gentry of Ellijay, daughter and son-in-law, Heather (James) Brady of Trion, GA; daughter, Nicolette Hewatt of Ellijay, four grandchildren, Tabitha Short of Crandal, James Southern, Christen Hewatt, and Simon Hewatt all of Ellijay, and three great-grandchildren, Bentley Gentry, Emalyn Gentry, and Dawson Short all of Crandall also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 28th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Hyatt officiating. Interment will follow in the River Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Ryan Nelson, Adam Hall, Theodore Hall, Chris Starks, Austin Samples, and Tyler Long.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food and Flowers will be accepted in memory of Ms. Lenora Jeanette Workman.
