Mr. Jeffrey Newton Scott, Sr., age 67 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Scott was born on February 13th, 1958 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late Charles Robert Scott and the late Shirley Lou Berry Scott. He owned and operated Scott Brothers Construction, where he operated heavy equipment. Jeffrey proudly served our nation in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Scott is preceded in death by one brother, Chucky Scott, and one sister, Amy Renee Shoutz.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandra A. Scott of Ellijay, GA; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Scott, Jr. of Ellijay, GA and Jeramie (Michelle) Scott of Acworth, GA; one brother, Patrick Scott of Uniontown, PA; two sisters, Bobby Lou Kundly of Indiana and Chris Devanney of Uniontown, PA, and one granddaughter, Roulin Ye also survives.

To honor Mr. Scott's wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Donations may be made to the Ellijay Animal Shelter.
