Jeri (Vira G. Oliver) Staton, age 94 of Roswell, formerly of Ellijay, passed away May 14, 2022, leaving the cares of this life to be with God and have eternal peace.

She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 64 years, Carl C. Staton; mother and father, Annie Pearl and Ferman D. Oliver, and three older brothers Henry, Willie, and Herbert.

Survivors include her 5 daughters Lynda Mobley of Alpharetta, Dixie Ball of Ellijay, Marsha Saum of Roswell, Pat Howell of Dalton, Bonita McCoy and son-in-law Bill of Deltona FL, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.

Interment will be beside her husband in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay where Jeri is a member of the church .

There will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a date and place to be determined in the near future.
