Mrs. Joan A. Buckner age 78 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Mrs. Buckner was born August 9, 1946, in Copperhill, TN to the late Boone and Eula Abercrombie. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Buckner is preceded in death by her son, John Lewis Buckner.

Survivors Include her husband, Jarvis Arnold Buckner, of the home in Ellijay, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Debby and Fred Williams, Amanda and Johnny Reece, Vera Buckner, and Randy Shumate; brother, Joey Abercrombie; sisters, Frankie Brown and Lisa Abercrombie Holcomb; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 11th from 4 pm until 8 pm.
