John M. Dickinson, Jr., 61, of Ellijay, Georgia, formerly of Owensboro, KY, went to Jesus on September 12, 2026. Born to Millie Riggleman and the late John M. Dickinson, Sr.

John graduated from Indiana School for the Deaf. John worked several years at the Messenger-Inquirer.

John is survived by his twin daughters, Kelsey Taylor Dickinson, and Kaley Mae Dickinson of Owensboro. He is also survived by his mother, Millie Riggleman; two brothers, Steve Dickinson and Shane Riggleman, and nieces, nephews, and friends.

There were private family services.
