John Jospeh McRedmond V made his divine journey home this past Tuesday, June 17th. In Heaven, John has reunited with his loving parents, John McRedmond IV and Lillian Kathleen McRedmond. John is survived by his Sisters, Ashley Parsley in Goodletsville, Tennessee, and Katelyn McRedmond in Ellijay.

John graduated Gilmer High School in 2013 and dove headfirst into engineering studies at Southern Polytechnic College. John's love for timber exteriors design and construction guided his lifelong professional endeavors. Propelled by his endless charisma and genuine Southern charm, John's lengthy portfolio was surpassed only by his long list of friends.

John was a fanatical dreamer, an energetic entrepreneur, an elaborate creative, and a steadfast gentleman. In every way possible, John McRedmond peristed in being his true self.

His brief but vibrant 30 years of life were punctuated by off-kilter jokes and an infectious grin, and you will be hard-pressed to find a resident of Gilmer County without a story to tell about John Joseph McRedmond V. "He was fully known and loved anyway."

For those who wish to say Goodbye, a public viewing will be held for John on Friday, June 27th, 2025 at Bernhardt Funeral Home from 12:00 until 8:00 PM. During this time, family and friends are welcome to share a few words.

The family respectfully asks that no flowers be brought to the funeral home. In lieu of these, memorial contributions may be made to the Isaiah House in memory of Mr. John McRedmond, V.
