Mrs. Johnnie Nell Marie Grant, age 79 of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, January 28 ^th , 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Grant was born in Buford, Ga., on August 14 ^th , 1942 to the late F.L Thomas and Flora

Lee Ramey Thomas. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband, Wimp Grant; one daughter, Rhonda Brooks (Sid); one brother, Jay Thomas; two grandchildren, Brett Brooks and Caitlin Pettit.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 1 ^st , 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev(s). Billy Nealey and Larry Stover officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Lee Parks, Garrett Pettit, Billy Grant, Toby Yarborough, Wayne Holt, and Michael Stover.

Honorary pallbearers include, Ronnie Cantrell, and  Joseph McCollum.

The family will receive friends on Monday January 31 ^st from 5 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heartlite Hospice c/o 9 Russell Dr Suite 201, Ellijay, GA 30540.

The family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
