Mr. Johnny Wade Ledford, age 80 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Mr. Ledford was born February 17, 1945, in Gilmer County to the late Elisha and Lemma Stanley Ledford. Mr. Ledford was a member of the Boardtown Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Billy Jack Ledford; his granddaughter, Harley Danielle Ledford; his brothers, Stanley Ledford and Warren Ledford; his sisters, Christine Ray and Jewelleen Beck; and son-in-law, Richard "Redbone" Chastain.

Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Chastain; sister, Alice Adkins; brothers, Robert Ledford and Bradley Ledford; granddaughter, Colbie (Derek) Rogers; great-grandchildren, Jamison Rogers and Jack Henry Rogers; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, December 22nd at 2 pm from Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery with Min. Tommy Kyle and Min. Cody Bearden officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22nd, from 10 am until 1:30 pm at Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted; however, the family respectfully ask no food be brought to the funeral home.
