Mr. José Camerino Pantoja, age 35 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 18th, 2026.

José was born on October 6, 1990, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Camerino Pantoja-Tena and Yolanda Vieyra-Guzman. He worked as a mechanic, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic, skilled hands, and willingness to help others. José was of the Catholic faith and found strength in his beliefs throughout his life.

In his spare time, José enjoyed detailing cars and took great pride in making them look their very best. He also loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, where he found peace and enjoyed creating lasting memories with family and friends. Above all, José treasured the time he spent with those he loved and will be remembered for his kind heart, hardworking spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him.

José was taken from this life far too soon, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. Though his time on earth was brief, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

He is survived by his father, Camerino Pantoja - Tena; mother, Yolanda Vieyra - Guzman; two brothers, Basilio Pantoja and Antonio Pantoja; sisters, Maricela Jimenez and Lesli Guadalupe Pantoja, and several friends also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church of Ellijay, GA with Rev. Luis Alvarez officiating. Graveside Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Joel Rangel, Jorge Nunez, Fidel Ruiz, Alex Vieyra, Basilio Pantoja, and Antonio Pantoja.

A wake/visitation will be held on Monday, July 27th, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Bernhardt Funeral Home. A vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Luis Alvarez officiating.

The family will be accepting food and flowers in memory of Mr. José Camerino Pantoja.

El Sr. José Camerino Pantoja, de 35 años de edad, residente de Ellijay, Georgia, falleció el sábado 18 de julio de 2026.

José nació el 6 de octubre de 1990 en Guanajuato, México, hijo de Camerino Pantoja-Tena y Yolanda Vieyra-Guzmán. Se desempeñó como mecánico, profesión que reflejaba su gran ética de trabajo, sus habilidades y su disposición para ayudar a los demás. Era de fe católica y encontraba fortaleza y consuelo en sus creencias.

En su tiempo libre, José disfrutaba detallando automóviles y se enorgullecía de hacer que cada vehículo luciera impecable. También le encantaba pasar tiempo al aire libre, especialmente cazando y pescando, actividades que le brindaban tranquilidad y la oportunidad de crear recuerdos inolvidables con su familia y amigos. Por encima de todo, apreciaba profundamente el tiempo que compartía con sus seres queridos. Será recordado por su noble corazón, su espíritu trabajador y la alegría que compartía con quienes lo conocieron.

José partió de este mundo demasiado pronto, dejando un vacío imposible de llenar. Aunque su tiempo en la tierra fue breve, el amor que brindó y los recuerdos que dejó vivirán para siempre en el corazón de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Será profundamente extrañado y recordado con mucho cariño.

Le sobreviven su padre, Camerino Pantoja-Tena; su madre, Yolanda Vieyra-Guzmán; sus dos hermanos, Basilio Pantoja y Antonio Pantoja; sus hermanas, Maricela Jiménez y Lesli Guadalupe Pantoja; además de numerosos familiares y amigos.

La Misa de Exequias Cristianas se celebrará el martes 28 de julio de 2026 a las 11:00 de la mañana en la Iglesia Católica Good Samaritan de Ellijay, Georgia, oficiada por el Padre Luis Álvarez. Al concluir la misa, se llevará a cabo el sepelio en el Cementerio Yukon. Los siguientes caballeros servirán como portadores del féretro: Joel Rangel, Jorge Núñez, Fidel Ruiz, Alex Vieyra, Basilio Pantoja y Antonio Pantoja.

El velorio y la visita se llevarán a cabo el lunes 27 de julio de 2026, de 4:00 de la tarde a 8:00 de la noche, en Bernhardt Funeral Home. A las 7:30 de la noche se celebrará una vigilia de oración, oficiada por el Padre Luis Álvarez.

La familia recibirá con gratitud muestras de cariño mediante alimentos y arreglos florales en memoria del Sr. José Camerino Pantoja.
