Joseph Keith Norris age 64 of Ellijay, Ga passed away peacefully on October 17th in his home.

Born on August 14th, 1962, in Atlanta, Ga, was the son of Martha Campbell.

He was a master carpenter for many years until retirement, for him it was a passion not just work. He is remembered as “Indian Joe” by his friends. He was known for his strong work ethic, a heart of gold and backbone of steel. His dedication and deep love for those that were close to him will forever live on in their hearts.

He is survived by his partner and friend for many years Cindy Farnham of Ellijay, his daughter Jessi Starks (Dillon) of Ellijay, his grandson Halen Aaron of Ellijay, his sisters; Sonya Dimiceli, Tracy Aaron, and his niece Crystal Truelove all of North Ga. He is proceeded in death by his mother Martha Campbell, and his brother Terry Norris of Carrolton.

He will be cremated and a celebration of life will follow at a later date.
