JOSEPH WAYNE REYNOLDS 12/27/43-4/20/25

On Easter Sunday the good Lord called home one of his most beloved sons Joseph Wayne Reynolds. The Son of Carl A Reynolds and Idoline King Reynolds, Joe was the loving husband to his wife Hughlene Reynolds for more than 60 years of marriage. They brought into this world two wonderful children, Nathan Reynolds, and Laura Reynolds Snyder. Joe will forever be missed and cherished by his loving family, which has grown to include his son-in-law and his favorite person in the world, his granddaughter Ava Rose Snyder. Joe will never be forgotten and will continue to live in our hearts.

Joe was born in Montgomery Alabama just 2 days after Christmas and was a gift from God. He eventually moved to Ellijay Georgia, where he met and married his high school sweetheart Hughlene. He achieved his dream of Attending and graduating from Georgia State University and started a family. Joe and Hughlene were blessed with an amazing baby boy, Nathan and not long after a wonderful baby girl Laura. It is to his family that Joe will line on forever as he achieved the status of Master Woodworker. Creating some of the finest antique furniture that will embody his amazing talent and love for generations to come. But it will also live on in his masterful brushstrokes as he was also an amazing painter and artist. In the end he was surrounded by those he loved and the presence of the lord. He will be missed but never forgotten as he lives in our hearts and minds for eternity.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 23rd at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Lumkin officiating. Internment will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 23rd from 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
