Mr. Juan Ortiz Hernandez, age 61 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Mr. Hernandez was born June 24, 1964, in Guerrero, Mexico. He worked for Pilgrims Pride as a leadman.

Survivors include: his children, Juan (Marra) Ortiz, Luis Ortiz, Angel Ortiz, Nick Ridings, Anna Ortiz, and Monica Guzman; siblings, Cellio Ortiz, Jr., Javier Ortiz, Siverio Ortiz, Ezequiel Ortiz, and Suzanne Ortiz; grandchildren, Olivia Ortiz, Kyla House, Oliver Rowe, and Juliana Ridings.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at 2 pm at the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Food and Flowers will both be accepted, or donations may be made to Bernhardt Funeral Home to help with final funeral expenses.
