Mrs. Nita Fish, age 95 of Canton, GA died Sunday January 12, 2025

Mrs. Juanita Boyles Fish was born in Kokomo, Mississippi on November 19th, 1929.  Her father died just 11 months later; she was taken in by her Grandmother Mary Boyles until she passed in April of 1941. She had an interesting life from working on parts for the atomic bomb (after lying about her age to get the job) to traveling around the world.  Trips included Europe, Israel, Egypt & China.  But her love was working with young people and served as Home and School leader for a significant number of years in the Douglasville & Ellijay SDA Church Schools.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Fish, her father George N Boyles, mother Nellie Terrell Boyles Hunt and her siblings Norman Boyles, Wondia Durapau, Hubert Boyles & JB Hunt as well as her son Walter N Williams Sr.

She is survived by James E Bell, David & Lynn Kissinger and Mary & Robert Pedersen as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 16th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Steve and Keleigh Cottrell officiating.

Interment Service will be held Thursday January 16 at 2pm at the Collegedale Memorial Park in Collegedale, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends Wednesday January 15th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
