Mrs. Julia Ann Deavers, age 81 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 31st, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Deavers was born on May 24th, 1944 in Marietta, GA to the late Barney Alvey and Sarah Chronic.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Frank Deavers; son, Michael Pye; two daughters, Penny Deavers and Patricia Davis; brother, William Alvey; two sisters, Linda Meeks and Annie Ruth Goggins; 7 grandchildren, Jamie Jacks, Angel Norris, Jessica Prince, Andrea Waples, Joseph Godby, Corey Godby, and Maggie Hutchenson, and 7 great-grandchildren, Nova Norris, Renley Norris, Sawyer Norris, Hunter Waples, Irene Waples, Candice Hutcheson, and Summer Hutcheson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 5th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with family and friends officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 5th, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 11:00 a.m.
