Mrs. Mary June Mullinax Davis, age 88 of Ellijay, passed away Monday, September 19th, 2022 at The Retreat at Jasper.

Mrs. Davis was born in Gilmer County on January 15th, 1934 to the late Delmer Mullinax and Helen Oliver Mullinax. She was a graduate of Ellijay High School, Class of 1950. Mrs. Davis was a paraprofessional for the Gilmer County School System and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Garvin Davis; brothers, Jimmy Mullinax and David Mullinax; and son, Monty Davis.

Survivors include her two daughters and son-in-laws, Patti (Jerry) Vick of Ellijay and Daphne (Roy) Duvall; sister, Wanda Pankey of Ellijay; six grandchildren, Tim Duvall, Brooke Berry, Kat Chinault, Zeb Duvall, Crystal Norton, and Cassie Toepher; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild also survives.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23rd at 11:00 AM from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay, with Minister Mike Hayden officiating.  Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery, conducted by Chris Berry.  Pallbearers will include, Tim Duvall, Zeb Duvall, Ian Berry, Kyler Norton, Jody Mullinax and Jamie Mullinax.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22nd from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
