Mrs. Kami Elizabeth Southern, age 52 of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 at her home.

Kami was born on January 31st, 1972 to the late Howard Southern and the late Bernice Teal Southern. She attended the Flat Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. To the world, she was a Mom, but to our family, she was our World.

Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Southern; son, Gerald Southern; three daughters, Sarah Southern, Haley Southern, and Gracie Southern; daughter-in-law, Kayla Southern; sister, Sherry Thompson; three grandchildren, Kyle Southern, Elise Southern, and Kadence Southern, as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Shelton and Rev. Jackie Ellington officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Flowers and Food will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Kami Elizabeth Southern.
