Mrs. Kathleen Banks age 70 of Ellijay passed away on April 14 ^th, 2023 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper GA.

Mrs. Banks was born on November 30, 1952, the daughter of the late Fred and Lemma Long Wells in Gilmer County.  She was a high school graduate of Gilmer High Class of 1970. She had retired from the Pilgrims Pride in Gilmer County. She was also a member of the Harvest Missionary Church. Her husband James ''Leon'' Banks and brothers Hoyt Wells and Paul Wells preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 17 ^th, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold to be officiating. Music was conducted by Teresa Chastain. Pall Bearers serving the family were Tyson Elliott, Jonathan Bartley, Mark Bryson,Taylor Bryson, Dusty Arnold and Tony Arnold. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

Survivors include; Son and daughter-in-law; Cameron and Cara Banks, Tampa FL, Sister; Marie Wells, Ellijay.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17 ^th, 2023 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 2:00 pm.
