Mrs. Kathy Jones, age 75 of Ellijay, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Watkins; her mother, Ann Watkins; her sister, JoAnn Watkins; and her sister, Wanda Hill.

Survivors include her beloved family: Husband of 58 years, Gary Jones, of Ellijay; Daughter, Kari (Todd) Allen, of Fairmount; Daughter, Brett Jones, of Ellijay; and Son, Brian (Jenn) Jones, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Mallori Jones, Connor Thompson, Adrian Thompson, Carter Jones, and Carsyn Jones; and great grandchildren, Josie Champion and Rand Jones.

Kathy was born February 26, 1950 in Marietta, and grew up in Acworth. She was a devoted and faithful member of Harvest Missionary Church.  She lived a long, productive, faithful and fulfilled life, and her greatest joy was her family.  Kathy was a strong, kind, generous, driven and compassionate lady who shared those and many other gifts and talents with her family and friends.  Kathy's pride and joy was her family.  She was a devoted Wife to the love of her life, Mother to her three children, and the best "Nana" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Everyone who knew Kathy, whether family, friends, business associates or acquaintances, has been enriched by her life.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 28th at 2 pm from Harvest Missionary Church with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Brian Jones, Carter Jones, Connor Thompson, Jesse McElreath, Dusty Arnold, Hershel Defoor, and Anthony Noland. Private interment will be held in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 28th from 12 noon until 1:30 pm.

Flowers are appreciated but the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
