Mr. Kenneth Lee Teague, age 81 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 26 ^th , 2022 at Northside Cherokee Hospital.

Mr. Teague was born on July 26 ^th , 1940 in Gilmer County to the late Sherman Teague and Verla Mae Plumley Teague. Mr. Teague worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation in the Engineering Department. He was a member of the Oak Hill Independent Church. He enjoyed traveling with his family in a motor home. They traveled to all 50 states and loved traveling out West. Mr. Teague loved feeding and watching his birds.

Survivors include: his wife, Cathy Teague of Ellijay, GA; one sister, Shirley Bramlette of Cleveland, GA; nephew, Michael (Lynn) Bramlette of Cleveland, GA; great-grandnephew, Michael (Shelby) Bramlette; great-great niece, Emery Bramlette; three stepsons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Leslie Dooley of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jeff and Debbi Dooley of Ellijay, GA, and Hal and Donna Dooley of Jasper, GA; two step daughters and sons-in-law, Gwyn Dooley of Ellijay, GA, and Gale and Marvin Patterson of Ellijay; 8 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 29 ^th , 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Henson and Rev. Edward Ledford officiating. Interment to follow in the Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Jeff Dooley, Michael Bramlette, Mike Cantrell, Hal Dooley, Rex Jones, and Matt Jones. Honorary Pallbearers include: Ernie Yana, David Elliott, Grady Crooke, Bobby Lanning, James Henson, Donald DeHart, Jerry Farist, and David Fricks.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29 ^th , 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
