Larissa Robaert Brady, 53, of Woodstock, GA, passed away suddenly on May 5, 2024, while celebrating the graduation of her daughter from The Ohio State University.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jeff Brady; her two children, Elizabeth and Edward Brady; her mother, Lony Robaert; her sister, Fernanda Robaert Konrath, her two brothers, Ervino Junior and Henrique Robaert; and by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter. She has extended family from her husband as well as an extensive family network in Brazil.

Larissa was born in Pelotas, Brazil to Ervino and Lony Robaert and was the second of four children.  She was raised Lutheran and her childhood was a happy one surrounded by a close family in Pelotas and Novo Hamburgo, Brazil.  Her family was of Germanic descent and were settled in an area known for making shoes.  Larissa graduated with degrees as an economist and in agriculture.  She was working in banking when she was introduced to her future husband due to similar family connections to the shoe business and close ties with family being neighbors.

Jeff and Larissa were wed in 2001 and settled in Woodstock, GA to raise a family.  She had a great love for gardening and travel.  Over the next 23 years, she was able to visit most of the country and enjoyed the diversity and natural beauty that nature had to offer.  Her hobbies included gardening and landscaping around her home.  She loved her family and children with a passion and was extremely protective of them like a mother bear.  Most of her free time was spent in the North Georgia mountains where she found a second home in Ellijay, GA.

Services were held on Saturday, May 18 at the Bernhardt Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Yukon Cemetery.
