Mr. Larry William Johnson, age 87 of Suwanee, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at Celebration Village of Forsyth.

Mr. Johnson was born on September 23rd, 1935 in Knoxville, TN to the late Lonas Johnson and Gladys Sowers Johnson. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 32 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ball Ground. In his retirement, Mr. Johnson enjoyed gardening, nurturing many kinds of flowers. He loved animals, especially miniature horses and birds. In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Shirley; two brothers, Jack Johnson and Roy Johnson; and brother-in-law, Eddie Weaver.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Weaver Johnson; two daughters, Patty Johnson and Debbie (David) Shirley; granddaughter, Jennifer Shirley; sister-in-law, Edith Weaver; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 11th at 11:15 AM from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Harold Nelson officiating. Pallbearers serving will be Chris Weaver and Brady Weaver.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11th from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mr. Larry Johnson.
