Larry Joe Kirkland, age 46 of Ellijay, passed away on September 7th, 2025.

Larry Joe was born August 11, 1979, in Dalton Ga the son of Larry and Brenda Sue Kirkland. He was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church. He loved going to church, he loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles. He loved his family and loved being with them. And he will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his son, Tyler Joe Kirkland and nephew, Alex Perez.

Survivors include his father, Larry Kirkland; mother, Brenda Sue Kirkland; son, Aiden Reyes; brother Matt (Kayla) Kirkland; Sister, Crystal (Bobby) Bramlett; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, September 12th, 2025, at 10:00 am from the Yukon Cemetery with Rev. David Banks officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
