Mrs. Laura "Laurie" Marie Linville, age 61 of Talking Rock, passed away in the early hours of Friday, September 30 ^th , 2022.

She was born in Midlothian, Illinois and spent the majority of her life living in the beautiful North Georgia area of Talking Rock with her husband and sons. She married the love of her life, Patrick Linville, on November 7 ^th , 1981. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, and three sons. Daughter, Rachael Westlake, 44 years old, has two children ages 26 and 13, and resides in Plant City, Florida. Son, Adam Linville, 38 years old, is married to Carrie Linville, and they live in Crandall, Georgia and have two daughters ages 22 and 17.  Joel Linville, 36 years old, and significant other Jennifer reside in Talking Rock and have two sons ages 5 and 4. Cody Linville, 31 years old, and fiancée Michelle Bayless also reside in Talking Rock. Laurie had the most incredible capacity for love and compassion for all those around her, including, and especially, animals. She is also survived by her beloved canine children, Snoopy, Cuddles, Tinker, and Spot; as well as her feline daughter, Kali.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13 ^th at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Adam Linville, Joel Linville, Cody Linville, Matt Silver, Mike Noah, and Carrie Linville.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12 ^th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family or Bernhardt Funeral Home at 163 River St. Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mrs. Laura "Laurie" Marie Linville.
