Mrs. Lillie Sue Reece age 77 of Talking Rock GA passed away on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at the Northside Cherokee Hospital.

Mrs. Reece was born October 23rd, 1946 in Gilmer County to the late Herbert Parks and Annie Lee Keener Parks. She worked as a dietician employed by Pickens County detention center, she also worked at Dunns Store for over 20 years. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steve Reece, brother Lewis Parks, and great grandchild Kovin Dickerson.

Survivors include daughters Caroline Black, Talking Rock, Kathy Rochester (Terry), Ranger GA, Sisters; Elizabeth Suggs, Ranger GA, Gloria Burrage, Ranger GA, Grandchildren; Justin Dickerson, Caleb Dickerson, Bethany Goley, Tasha Reece, Shannel Groover, 8 great-grandchildren, Niece Connie Stuck, nephew Benson Suggs also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Johnny Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Rochester, Eddie Goley, Justin Dickerson, Justus Dickerson, Caleb Dickerson, and Cayden Dickerson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 from 11:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted but the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home in memory of Mrs. Reece.
