Mrs. Linda Diane Banks Hornsby, age 75 of Ellijay, GA, on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 at her residence.

Linda was born on August 3rd, 1949 in Atlanta, GA to the late James Marvin Banks and the late Winnefred Lorainne Huddelston Banks. Mrs. Hornsby was a proud and devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay. She deeply loved the Lord and had a genuine love for people. Linda served as an office manager for Associated Air and also achieved her real estate license, reflecting her dedication and professionalism in all she pursued. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hornsby is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Mr. Kenneth Lee Hornsby, and one brother, James Marvin Banks.

Linda is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Angela Hornsby of Woodstock, GA and Lee and Susan Hornsby of Ellijay, GA; two daughters and son-in-law, Kelly Hornsby and Chase Dyer of Flagler Beach, FL and Lorie Hornsby of Deland, FL: two brothers and sister-in-law, Kyle and Maggie Banks of Ball Ground, GA and Darrell Banks of Deland, FL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay.

The family respectfully asks that no food and flowers be brought to the funeral home. In lieu of food and flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ellijay @ 164 N Dalton Street, Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mrs. Linda Diane Hornsby.
