Ms. Jessie Lois Thomason, age 95 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, June 1st, 2026.

Ms. Thomason was born on April 28th, 1931 in Dalton, Georgia to the late Joe Thomason and the late Mae Plott Thomason. She was a faithful member of Daily Walk Ministries. Ms. Thomason loved the Lord dearly and found great joy in reading her Bible and growing in her faith. She treasured her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. Her kind spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering love for God and her loved ones will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Thomason is preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Moore and Sandy Brock, and two brothers, Jim Thomason and Wilburn Thomason.

She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary (Rhonda) Barnes of Ellijay, GA, Jeff (Kim) Barnes of Ellijay, GA, and Tony Barnes of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kay (Rick) Engleking of Marshfield, Missouri; brother, Troy Thomason of Tunnel Hill, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Dela (Don) Williams of Marshfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Crystal Pritchett, Tracy Allen, Jason Brock, Megan Engleking, Jessica Engleking, and Kim Tanner; several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survives.

Funeral Services to honor the Life of Ms. Thomason will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Withrow officiating. She will be interred in the Yukon Cemetery; however, there will be no graveside service and procession following the funeral service.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food and flowers will both be accepted in memory of Ms. Lois Thomason.
