Mrs. Lucille Virginia Aaron, age 77 of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday, January 25 ^th , 2022.

Mrs. Aaron was born in Murphy, N.C., on September 17 ^th , 1944 to the late Norman Beavers and Wilma Grant Beavers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Aaron; one brother, Harold Beavers. Mrs. Aaron was retired from Regal Rugs and was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. She loved cooking, watching her birds and squirrels, and most of all, she loved and cherished her family.

Survivors include her two sons, James Aaron (Rhonda), and Mark Aaron (Devin); two daughters, Brenda Mullinax (Anthony), and Linda Brewer (Bobby); one sister-in-law, Leola Beavers; her special friends, Sandra and Andy Key, Marilynn Griggs, and Ernest and Barbara Watkins; eight grandchildren, Jody Talley, Danny Mullinax, Sybil Rymer, Zach Gassett, Morgan Aaron, David Aaron, Leah Aaron, and Hope Dickey; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 28 ^th , 2022 at 2 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Hood and Rev. Phillip Davenport officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy. Pallbearers include Zach Gassett, Gary Chadwick, Greg Griggs, Jackie Ellington, Greg Norton, Danny Mullinax, and Sam Brooks.

Honorary Pallbearers include Andy Key, Ernest Watkins, Jim Dotson, Mitch Mullinax, David Mullinax, and Phillip Davenport.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26 ^th from 6 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Aaron will lie-in-state on Thursday, January 27 ^th from 9 AM until 9 PM at the funeral home.
