Mack
Aaron
Feb 21, 1940 — Nov 15, 2023
Ellijay
Mr. William Mack Aaron, Sr., age 83 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at Northside Hospital of Cherokee.
Mr. Aaron was born on February 21st, 1940, in Ellijay, to the late Otis Shafter Aaron and Reba Ellis Aaron. Mack was a loving husband, daddy, and grandpa. He loved The Lord and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He loved his community and was a friend to All who knew him. Mack was a staple in the Cartecay area, he was a farmer, an apple grower, and had a great passion for his animals. One of his favorite enjoyments was going to the Cow Sales, of which he would travel many a mile to see the cattle run through the sale. His devotion to his family and his community was part of what made him so respected and loved. Mack was "Genuine" always the same happy, caring, and jolly man no matter where you encountered him. Mack worked the land and handed down the love of being a farmer and an apple grower to his son and grandson, who are still carrying on his hard work today. Seeing Mack always brought a smile and happiness to your day. He will be missed by all the lives he has touched and will be remembered as the "Prince of a man that he was".
"Know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day." 2 Samuel 10:3
